Oooookay so it's been a while. I'm a bad blogger, and I apologize.
I had good reasons for being MIA though! Since I last wrote, I started a new job (still at Google, but on a completely new team) and David and I took a trip to Europe! This really has been the year of travel, and I've loved every minute of it.
When we were writing our thank you notes after the wedding, we told many of the guests who gave us cash that we hoped to use the money to do some traveling. Around Christmastime, I got to thinking about it and decided that we should actually make good on that promise. I love to travel and have done a decent amount of traveling internationally, but David had never left the country before (other than to go to across the border to Windsor, Ontario, but I don't really count that). So, I told him that I wanted to go to Europe in 2015. I know that once we decide to start a family we likely won't be able to jet off across the world, and I think it's important to experience different cultures through travel. Since I didn't care where we went, I let David pick and he chose Dublin, London, and Bruges. Being a francophile I added Paris, and voila - we had a trip!
