Long time, no see blog. A year and a half between posts is totally reasonable, right?
Okay, maybe not.
Let's do a quick catch-up. Since you last heard from me, you'll be glad to know that the grass I planted sprouted nicely, David and I were able to clean up the beds in the front of our house (but not before scrapping our lofty ambitions of building a retaining wall for the much more achievable option of landscape edging), and in the summer of 2014 we hired a fertilizing service to actually give our lawn the TLC we were unable unwilling to give it. We no longer have the worst lawn in the neighborhood!

Okay, okay...enough about the lawn. In other news, since we last spoke David and I got engaged! And we got married! Wow, it really HAS been a long time :)
In my next post, I'll talk about our engagement, and then I'll devote a few posts to wedding planning and wedding recaps. Then we can resume with our regularly scheduled programming. Until next time!
